Hornets Acquire Oklahoma City's 2039 First-Round Pick, Currently Learning the Alphabet in Kindergarten
GM Jeff Peterson Promises '19-Year Rebuild Window' as Franchise's Boldest Move Yet

The Charlotte Hornets finally acquired Oklahoma City's 2039 first-round pick on Thursday in exchange for their 2027 and 2028 firsts. Currently, their prospect is actively participating in kindergarten learning how to say the ABC’s as we speak.
The Hornets have not won a playoff series since 2002, so by taking this elite move and dominating the 2039 market, they have already solidified themselves to be contenders. Through scouting, by hosting kindergarten ‘Intro2Basketball’ leagues, they have already created a few list of prospects:
DeAngelo Westbrook, 7
E'Shawn Smith XI, 6
Liam Antetokunmpo, 6 (Son of Bucks Player, Giannis Antetekounmpo)
Beckham Beckhamson, 6
Yusuf Friyar, 6
"Everybody says nowadays they're rebuilding for the future. We actually did it," general manager Jeff Peterson says. "You want a five-year window? We’ll give you a 19-year window, that’s simply just how efficient we are." Our reporters stopped to ask him, “What motivated you to make this trade?” He replied back, “I mean you either go home or go hard… wait a minute it’s go home or go, wait what’s the quote again? Anyway, you get what I mean.”
Charlotte's analytics department, which is currently employed by two middle-aged workers, says that their “internal model projects show that Liam Antetokounmpo is the real deal, and we want him.” Our news sources reported that most pro players begin playing at 9 years old, so this is complete bogus. Wonder if he turns out like LeBron’s son…
Speaking of crazy, the Hornets have never won a singular championship, or even made it to the finals for that matter; I wonder why. Michael Jordan, who once ran the Hornets said “I'm pretty sure I can beat them, but I don't want to do that and demolish their confidence." Some sources say that he is coping, while others say that he is dead serious.
Charlotte’s offices have been on the lookout for their next big thing in 2039, but by then I am sure the Hornets will probably not even be a team anymore.
